  1. Of what I've read on the "computer bug" in that early computer system, it sounded like they were referring to an established term, and referring to the irony of a physical bug (as in insect) being the cause of a glitch in the system (hence a "bug").

  4. I could understand some confusion with both Linux and BSD being open source, and thinking they're nearly the same. thus if BSD = Linux, MacOS would equal Linux. But really, even as far as the BSD base of MacOS goes, I would say MacOS is to BSD as Android is to Linux.
