  1. I could see a problem with "structural integrity" if someone doesn't correctly and snugly align the halves of the housing when reassembling. And as some others have said, tightening the screws too much (even if they realigned the threads to their existing ones). But I am wondering which are worse; self-tapping screws into beefy plastic studs, or brass studs molded into miniscule plastic skim-coats that a flea could hammer their way through.
