So the repair market needs to catalogue the compatible part numbers for replacement batteries (so that EVERYBODY will know what the proper replacement parts are), and then repair shops can simply buy "generic" replacement batteries. If they are clearly marked as a "generic replacement", they can't be seized. Even though they are exactly the same part. It isn't like those machines will be covered under crApple Warranty anymore, so no problem with voiding one. You know, there are various times I think it might be neat to have a nice, shiny new piece of Apple tat, like a Mac Mini or MacBook. Then I see crap like this, and remember just what a horrid world their walled-garden is. *SO* much better using my Linux systems. Maybe I'll find some 3-year-old shiny-shiny some MacHead tossed out because it wasn't the latest thing, and play with one that way, because NO WAY am I buying anything new from them.
