You know, it's a lot like the automakers that got their bailouts. Cars are already grossly overpriced because of protectionist rules that make it difficult or even impossible for competition to survive. And when they say "Oh, Mazda, you can only bring in X number of cars per year, they'll just bring in the much-more expensive, high-margin cars, and skip over the budget models we'd prefer to buy. So in a market where the game was rigged FOR the big American automakers, they STILL couldn't make any money??? Seems they were obvious failures, and should have been allowed to die.
