This is precisely a situation where I won't pay for "Premium", because all it does is reward YT for their behavior. It would be like buying your kid a new toy every time they throw a tantrum. I was willing to accept ads on YT because I figured people gotta get paid. But once they went with mid-roll ads, I went out of my way to block ALL of them. When I hear people say "well you have ads on radio/tv/Pandora/Funimation/etc, I point out that radio or streaming music pit the ads between songs, and tv or streaming video place ads in logical breaks in the show. If YT were running a radio station, they'd put three ads, mid-verse, in "Stairway to Heaven".
