  1.  @Stand00  yep, I have a 2012 MBP with the aftermarket 16GB memory upgrade, a nice SSD, and a patched version of Catalina (2 releases newer than the last version it officially supports). I wonder if there will ever be a "BigSur-patcher" release (although Catalina will probably be supported for quite a while)

  2.  Aerrin Longheart  I don't give a shit about Apple's viewpoint. If they want to sell more product, make them WORTH buying, rather than this environmentally-hostile bullshit move.
