@longestpants Here's why you people need to stop being chickenshit and start voting third-party (REAL third-party, not those fraudulent swing-parties that merely end up nominating the Demopublican and Republicrat candidates anyway). Back in 2016 when everyone was holding their noses to decide on Trump or Clinton, lots of people were saying they'd vote for Gary Johnson instead. And they all wimped out and voted D or R instead. Voting third-party is NOT wasting your vote; not voting, or voting for a candidate you despise simply because they're slightly less offensive than the other major-party candidate IS wasting your vote. That sends the message that you're OK with the status quo. Voting third-party takes the percentages away from the major parties, it cuts their victories down to where they can't legitimately claim a mandate. And eventually they DO win.

One of the major problems is far too many people are clueless on these issues, and can't even be bothered to remove their heads from their behinds to observe and learn what's going on in the world. Heck, even at a particular open-source company there's a lot of people using Macs even with all the proprietary and user-hostile moves Apple makes on a daily basis. (it's one of the reason's I'm pro-choice; my hope is to see the stupid ones weed themselves out of the gene pool).
