  1. So does anyone make laptops (or consumer computers in general) that AREN'T shit these days? At least when it comes to desktop/tower computers I could just assemble my own from parts readily available. Not much chance of that with laptops. And so few of them come with optical/DVD drives anymore. And the excuse is "oh, nobody uses optical drives anymore". Oh really? I do, my wife does, so by their statement they're telling me I'm a nobody... I guess I'll have to save up and buy any NEW laptops from System76 or ZaReason.
