Another issue you haven't touched upon in this video (I will have to check the Wiki to see if it's there); having full access to your printing data ALSO means they have the ability to prevent you from printing something they deem unacceptable. Some years back there was some 3D printer that would prevent you from printing anything that looked like a gun or a gun part. You want to make a pistol grip for your camera? Nope, can't print that. Considering the infestation of far-left socialist wokism in corporations, I wouldn't put it past them.
