  1.  @chlorophyllphile  And if I find myself in the situation where there is NO option to unlock my devices regardless of brand, then I'll buy the cheapest-ass devices I can, and the overpriced luxury brands can just suck it. If I get the same restricted functionality from a $25 knock-off as from a $1000 crApple or other glamor-brand, I'll buy the cheap option. I only pay extra when I *GET* extra.
