  1. Class Action Suits don't really help anymore. The lawyers all end up with most of the money, and you'll end up with a $5 iTunes voucher. On the other hand, if a bunch of State Attorney offices from a dozen or more states go after them. Not that the one from MacLand Kookafornia will do it though.

  2. There's the sort of nonsense why I marked Linus' videos as "I don't want to see this shit". So shameful he has the same name as Mr Torvalds. Now there would be a fun tag-team debate against a couple Apple reps. Let Louis critique the hardware, and Linus Torvalds critique the software.

  5. CAN is significantly different than *want to*. They probably could do it, but they want to suck up as much money as they can before the MacHeads figure out the MacBook/iPhone/iPad is all a scam nowadays. I remember some years ago saying that while I wasn't enthusiastic about MacOS, that Apple at least made nice hardware. That hasn't been the case for a long time now. Must be time to seriously work on a Mac-replacement Linux distribution. Although it might need to be built on one of the open-source BSD flavours.

  6. It's a sad situation when MSWindows is more open and user-friendly than a Mac (can't say much for the Surface Pro though). Heck, MS is probably more open than Android these days. That said, I use Linux. Don't want to deal with EITHER of the demon twins.
