@mojonojo3 The DMCA has been a bad system right from the start. It was established by Big Media not to protect creators in general, but rather to protect those corrupt MegaMedia corporations from any form of competition. The DMCA is protectionist legislation designed to prevent YOUR freedom of choice. And the provision of only reviewing DMCA exceptions every *three* years? That is certainly designed to dissuade challenges to their stranglehold on fair use and independent producers. Any fairly designed law would have at minimum a yearly review.
