Ciaran Butterly The point is there are people in the world dealing with much greater horrors than what we are here in the US. And also, understanding how readily things can turn sour elsewhere reminds us to be wary that it doesn't turn that way here. Sure, I'm sympathetic to people dealing with their own issues, and those issues are obviously central in their minds and important for them. But don't get the delusion the world circles around you, and that the entire world needs to stop and listen to you only.
