  1. "Burned coffee is BAD..." Yep, that's why I don't go to Starsucks. But I expect part of the problem is the coffees we would have run through your standard percolator would have been your typical ground-tar brand like Chock-full-o-Nuts. Hadn't even heard of the likes of Folgers until we moved to the West coast (at the time, Folgers was a west-coast-only brand, with Mrs. Olson and her bag of groceries she carried EVERYWHERE). EDIT: The trick for making mix-tapes would be to select your list of songs ahead of time, and total the run-times of the tracks (with the gap space added) and see which combination fits best. Of course, the process would be FAR easier if spreadsheets (mainly LibreOffice, I'm not touching MSAwful) could total a list of running times (or hours:minutes even, would be the same calculation).
