  1.  @ThatsPety  Actually, "Xmas" isn't an "un-Christian abbreviation, but rather that the Greek character "X" is the first letter in the Greek word for "Christ". As I remember, monks took to using X as an abbreviation for Christ when doing illustrated manuscripts.
