  1. It's going to be a long LONG time until I'm running machines with all NVMe. Maybe sometime around when I have to buy a cheap, used 4K television (one that has had any "smart" features disabled). So figure 8-10 years.

  2.  @brianbowcutt249  A couple of reasons for a rPi 'laptop" would be if you want a cheap ARM-processor portable system. Or that the rPi is a bit more open than most standard laptops. And a laptop version would have the GPIO pins available. So for specific use-cases it would fit. Of course, if you're needing that functionality, the PineBook might fill the need.
