Henry II’s focus was on providing more equal justice among his subjects, when the Church considered its members exempt from the laws of nations, and it still does, judging by all the sexual crimes it still tries to hide from public justice. Henry VIII’s focus was strictly on getting what he wanted to fulfill his emotional and other personal needs, his reign was never about what was best for his subjects, only for him.
