  1. Interesting that Belmont and the Roosevelt's were adversaries, both were Freemasons, Belmont was a congressman for years and likely not in agreement with the progressive Teddy Roosevelt. I remember seeing pictures of this house, my Mom belonged to Eastern Star and about once a year they got literature from the national organization
