  1. It's so interesting how Bong is setting up Woo-shik with questions like a teacher would for a student: "Ok, but what about this thing, why is it here? Why is it important?" The difference is, he wrote and directed everything, more than any teacher he knows the exact answer, he'd rather use this opportunity to give Woo-shik a chance to reinforce his thematic understanding and have time in front of the camera speaking, than just give away the answers.

  4. Wish someone would make a cult movie but about churches, political parties, advertising agencies, corporate life, capitalism, neoliberalism and euro-american centrism. If someone could bring that vibe to a larger context maybe some folks would notice what's going on.
