  6. This video is from Korolev, it is a city with 220.000 citizens and located northeast of Moscow. A guy working there for Pyatyorochka earns 410€/month before tax or 360€ after taxes = 2.12€/hour. If he works a hour he can buy 1.5 cans of Fanta or 90 gramm of swiss chees. In Austria a guy wich works for Lidl (German discounter in Austria) earns 2.010 €/month after taxes and insurences or 10.90 €/hour. He can afford 400 gramm of chees or 7 cans of Fanta. Can someone explain to me, why russians so poor in one of the richest country in the world?

  14. It's always the same in the countries of the "second" and the "third world". The supermarkets have full shelves, because only few customers can spend 100 € at once like in the US or EU. The most costumers are buying only necessery food in small quantities. In Nigeria, where I currently live, we have the same situation. Take a look e.g. at videos from Sudan, supermarkets have full shelves but only a few customers. Sudan is a poor country. Unfortunatly the links to the videos don't come through.

  16. ​ @TREVOGA I'm not suggesting anything, I'm only describing the dufferent shopping behaviors. In the US or EU people go once a week to the supermarket to shop for the food, some on Saturdays, housewifes go on working days. You normally buy e.g. a crate of beer or coke with 20 bottles, not only two-three cans. For bread and vegetables you are going again during the week. In so called second or three world countries the people go shop very often to buy some most necessery things like potatoes tomatoes, bread, milk, eggs. E.g. in Russia or Nigeria only a few pensioners can afford the swiss chees, fresh olives, good french wine, or many other things, they will never buy and never eat such food. In the EU or US the most pensioners can afford good wines and good chees. But you are right, it is not necessery to eat good french chees and drink french wine. To consume the same calories you can eat potatoes and drink vodka.

  17. ​ @Sergey_Bezhentsev That's exactly the point. You do have 4 small-sized with walking distance, because the most people in Russie can't spend at once 100 € for food. They go shop to these small grocery shoos, where the buy only a few most necessery things. In the western countries people go by car once a week to a supermarket and buy what they need for a week. Fifty years ago in Austria we had more small grocery stores like in Russia too.

  19. A guy from Yekaterinburg have do drive 1.800 km to shop in this TYPICAL russian store, because Globus are there in the Moscow region only. A Russian from Vladivostok have to drive 6.400 km. So this store is more TYPICAL for a guy from Warsaw, Helsinki or London than for a guy from Yekaterinburg or Vladivostok. 😂😂😂😂
