@TREVOGA I'm not suggesting anything, I'm only describing the dufferent shopping behaviors. In the US or EU people go once a week to the supermarket to shop for the food, some on Saturdays, housewifes go on working days. You normally buy e.g. a crate of beer or coke with 20 bottles, not only two-three cans. For bread and vegetables you are going again during the week. In so called second or three world countries the people go shop very often to buy some most necessery things like potatoes tomatoes, bread, milk, eggs. E.g. in Russia or Nigeria only a few pensioners can afford the swiss chees, fresh olives, good french wine, or many other things, they will never buy and never eat such food. In the EU or US the most pensioners can afford good wines and good chees. But you are right, it is not necessery to eat good french chees and drink french wine. To consume the same calories you can eat potatoes and drink vodka.
