  2. Yaaaay!!! Proto-Indo European as the ancient founder of all modern European languages was spoken in Russia indeed. Absolutely right! Props to you guys! The ancestors of all European tribes come from Ukraine and Western Russia. Turns out that Russia is the original birthplace of all European peoples and European languages. Like it or not. Just do some research. Would you like to know how the Proto-Indo European word for 'APPLE' sounded like? Something like 'YABLOKO' ... It's a modern Russian word. Time passed by and... Yabloko-Abloko-Abbloko-Apploko-Appleko-Applek-Apple. Yes English seems so far from Russian nowadays, yet there are still so many similar words present in both languages. Russian words like nyet - no (more similar to not), nos equals English nose, kot - cat, gruby - rude (crude, gruff), mrak - murk, mallenki - small, boloto - swamp (similar to blot), plamya - flame, brov - eyebrow, sontse - sun, syn - son, doch - daughter, brat - brother, mat - mother, den - day, noch - night, sneg - snow, woina - war, gus - goose, stopa - foot (similar to step), list - leaf, volk - wolf, mertvy - dead (similar to murder), mol - moth, grabit - rob or steal (similar to grab), bit - beat, pisat - piss or pee, perdet - fart, sertse - heart, dver -door, tropa - trail or track, krushit - crush, dremat - dream or take a nap, skruchivat - screw, sidet - sit, stoyat - stand, tolkovat - talk, glotat - swallow meaning glottal, kreachat - scream, skripet - screech, delat - do or deal, moy - my, dva - two, tri - three, vada - water and so on.
