The S&L scandal brought the recession to us, big time!!! Remember that?? Remember Reagan warning us about it? Remember him saying that the S&L's could not back up the incredible interest rates they offered, and if they folded, the government would have to bail them out, and no one listened to him, and then we had a major recession because of it? He warned the country, that was all he could do. we did not listen to him, and we paid the price for our greed. Remember that? No? You do now.

Vida Hernandez Really? More millionaire's were created in the eighties than the previous two decades combined. And, once again, the recession was caused by the S&L's.. We were doing great until then, the economy grew one third during Reagan's presidency,, with an annual growth rate of a respectable 3.6%, and a 2 trillion dollar increase. You can try to argue with fact, like every other liberal. You can try.......
