I've said this before..politics aside, (and the Carter presidency was the reason I decided to vote Republican) I have always considered Carter to be possibly the most decent human that has served as president in my lifetime, and that includes Reagan. (did you know Reagan was a lifeguard and had 77 'saves' to his credit?)
