  2. @ 2014 was the beginning of their problems, and there was an invasion, and then a deal was made. Not joining NATO was part of that deal. In return, Russia would never invade the Ukraine again. Ukraine was about to break that deal, and if they joined NATO before Russia invaded, Russia would then be up against NATO, so they invaded first. Got that?
