  7. When I was young - early sixties - St. Louis was considered an economic force, with a great future. The Arch, along with the revolving restaurant/hotel, were new. We had McDonnel-Douglas, Southwestern Bell, First National Bank-Bankmark-then Centierre, Corvette, Brown Shoe, Purina, and more, with Purina being the little guy in the mix. Now, we get to say we have "Purina" as a claim to fame.....
