  6.  @andreworiez8920  Ever since my dad retired, I occasionally joked that I was a "retired" Navy brat. So when I was deciding on what my username was going to be, I thought "retnavybrat" would be something original (at least compared to a lot of the names I was seeing at the time) and descriptive. 🙂 ⚓

  8.  @andreworiez8920  My dad had an opportunity when I was about 10 or 11 years old to participate in some sort of exchange program with the German navy, but it would've meant giving up the dogs we had at the time and, in our family, that would've been like asking my parents to give me up, so we stayed stateside.
