  3. @Jason Eaton: I think Britain is a little bit ahead of the US in terms of female representation in the highest echelons. During the time the US has been a country, Britain has had two Queens Regnant (Heads of State) and two female Prime Ministers (Heads of Government).

  4. Although I wasn't rooting for Harris specifically to become the first female VP, I (being a woman as well) had a similar reaction to this moment.
