  1. +Monarchist 18 Actually, the Catalonian government wants to remain in the EU. However, if I'm remembering correctly, the EU has already told Catalonia that if it declared independence outside of what Spanish law allows, it won't recognize an independent Catalonia.

  4. +Monarchist 18 The EU may not like the fact that the UK wants to pull out, but it did accept the results of the referendum. Otherwise, why else would the EU and the UK be having talks about issues that need to be resolved before the formal separation?
