@melgrant7404 That's my point. Giuffre should have refused. Accepting makes her look like all she was interested in was the money.

Follow the howl I don't see it as "vilifying" as much as expressing frustration when women in Giuffre's position accept money in lieu of legal action. Accepting that payout makes it look as if she was more interested in extorting Andrew instead of holding him somewhat accountable for his actions (I say "somewhat" because he can't be charged criminally after 20 years). From what I've read and heard so far, yes, she was a victim of Epstein and I am sorry that she experienced all that. However, I don't have any additional sympathy for her in this case specifically because she had a chance to hold one of her alleged attackers to account and she dropped the ball.
