And what's going to happen in a few years is that most people will forget why the holiday exists and treat it as another day off to go shopping at the Juneteenth Sales (assuming they're not one of the people who are working in the store having the Juneteenth Sale).

It's a nice idea in theory, but the same people who have to work every other federal holiday (e.g., retail, first responders, health care, etc...) would still have to work on an Election Day holiday.

@graemesharp1982 It's been my experience that if someone makes a claim, yet tells me to look it up myself, that usually means the claim is baloney sauce.
