  3. dee fridge  And companies like Twitter and Facebook have a right not to let him use their platforms to express his opinions. Let's say I ask to come visit you at your house. You say, sure, but please don't harass, intimidate, or threaten the other guests. I agree to this, but as soon as I step foot in your door, guess what I start doing? At that point, don't you have the right to kick me out of your house for violating your rules? I would imagine that in most countries you would. The concept is essentially the same between Jones and the platforms that banned him. They claim he violated rules (rules that he had to agree to abide by before setting up his accounts, by the way) regarding behavior such as harassment, so as a private company, they were within their rights to remove him from their "property".

  4. dee fridge  I was using that as an example of the type of behavior that would get someone banned. You'll have to ask the social media sites that kicked him off exactly what triggered his removal.
