@Jesse Torres: Of course it wouldn't affect Barron since Trump was an US citizen when Barron was born. Trump wasn't proposing to end jus sanguinis citizenship.

Trump's proposal doesn't affect anyone's immigration status. All it would affect is the citizenship status of babies born in the US whose parents aren't US citizens or legal permanent residents.
