Considering that the PGA has pretty much been the only pro golf organization in the US ever since I can remember (and possible longer than that), I don't get why some senators are just now expressing concern about possible anti-trust issues. And, in regards to the issue of the Saudi government being a major investor in the merged company, I get how that would be of concern in principle, but is investigating the merger really the best use of Congress' time? It's not as if the PGA produces anything vital for the American public (e.g., food, electricity, gas, medical services) or holds any top secret government contracts.
