  1.  @MattBiden  Making Alaska and Hawaii states simply changed their status within the United States. They had already been territories from 1867 (Alaska) and around 1900 (Hawaii).

  6.  @peachymango2787  Assuming "stuff" like people can't pay attention to more than one issue at a time? I would never say that the health of our planet isn't very important, but there are other things happening that need our attention as well.

However, you could say it's related since many people believe the only reason Trump wants to buy Greenland in the first place is to get a hold of the variety of natural resources that will be easier to extract once the ice shelf melts due to climate change.

  11. To play devil's advocate, Trump didn't make any initial offers via tweet. He didn't even start tweeting anything about possibly wanting to buy Greenland until the media picked up the story from the Wall Street Journal.
