I can't say I'm a NASCAR fan, but I will always remember Earnhardt's death because of the wrangling between the Earnhardt family and the Orlando Sentinel, which led to the Florida Legislature exempting autopsy photos from the Open Records law. Essentially, what had happened was the Orlando Sentinel wanted to look at the autopsy reports and photos as part of its investigative reporting on the tragedy. Understandably, the Earnhardt family objected to the photos being released to the newspaper because they were concerned, despite promises being made that the photos would be for its eyes only, that the photos would be leaked to the public.

+Mr. Obvious The Fifth Maybe you should be listening to real Christian music to help you rid yourself of that ugly anti-Christian attitude.
1
+stigmajosh I never got into Ab Fab myself, but it always seemed to be a popular series. Surprising it didn't make the list.
1
This is true. Either one of them should've been easy to beat had the opposite party nominated a credible candidate.
1
+Teebz 1000 I think the big difference was the age of the actors / characters. There were people here in the States that were uncomfortable with the idea of underage actors / characters engaging in sex acts and drug use.
1
+Teagos Teagos It didn't take a court case for him to become President.
1
Taco Bell's Chihuahua is a short hair. That's nothing compared to a nice fluffy long haired Chihuahua (see user pic to the left).
1
+phantastic013 According to the video, he pawned his remaining belongings to get the ticket.
1
I don't see how Potemkin and Birth of a Nation ended up on this list. Propaganda they may be, but they weren't examples of war propaganda. Neither movie were pushing for or against any conflicts their nations were engaged in at the time (there were none as far as I can remember).
1
+mikeyb1335 He was on the list of 70's comedy actors.
1
I can see why Karen Gillan was picked to play Jean Shrimpton. Britney's naughty schoolgirl look isn't really iconic. I can't say I know exactly what men think about (since I'm female), but I'm fairly certain that ensemble (in general, not necessarily on Britney) has been part of many a man's, shall we say, less than pure thoughts.
1
+BoatingTurtle Not true. There are definitely 10 or more actresses whose heyday was in the 1920's that WatchMojo could draw on for a Top Ten list.
1
+Ashter Moon Yes, that was Mohammed Ali. I had forgotten he did those ads until I saw that clip.
1
The Doctor doesn't die, he regenerates.
1
+Captain Marvel Wilson If WatchMojo does decide to make an updated video, I want them to wait until after Doctor Strange is released.
1
+Cain Jenkins Part of the criteria WatchMojo used was that the film appeared in the first half of the 20th century. I don't think Rambo would qualify since it premiered in the mid 1980's, about 30-35 years after the mid-point of the 20th century.
1
+PtolemyAtheling I know he was hired by Obama to a post in which he was supposed to be a liaison with the Asian-American community, but as far as I know, he never ran for a political office.
1
I wouldn't classify it as slang. It's just the shortening of a longer word, like referring to gasoline as gas or a cellular phone as a cell phone.
1
+Luke Newman I would imagine that general fraud laws would cover the situation if no contract was involved. Let's say you went to a store to buy laundry detergent and when you got home you found apple juice in the bottle. If the store refused to replace the product or refund your money, you could sue them for fraud even though there's no contract between you and the store.

+Cyndi Keely I'll be the first to agree 100% that what President Bush did was inappropriate (regardless of the gender of the recipient) and it's pretty obvious to anyone with eyesight that Chancellor Merkel didn't welcome the gesture. But sexual harassment? That I don't agree with, based solely on that clip. I don't think Bush was trying to come on to her or otherwise be disrespectful. And, by the way, I'm a woman. 🙂
1
+João Prado It's not a diplomatic blunder because he hasn't grabbed a female world leader there -- yet.
1
+SWAG Team Because it's so severe compared to most other countries. Even if a drunk driver killed someone here in the US, the worst he'd get is a life sentence even if the state still has the death penalty on the books.
1
+LippensEnte I just saw Hamlet tonight with Cumberbatch and I do think he's going to definitely be remembered as one of the best British actors of his generation. However, this list seemed to be focused more on those with long, enduring careers, with the exception of Ewan McGregor and Christian Bale in the Honorable Mentions. If I interpreted the criteria correctly, then Cumberbatch definitely should've merited a Honorable Mention.
1
+Miyamoto Musashi We don't have to worry about a Kardashian being able to send our children to war, make government budgets, keep our streets safe, etc... .

Back in the 60's (first run) and 70's (syndicated re-runs), you couldn't tell that Cesar Romero hadn't shaved his mustache, but with all the modern technical stuff that's been done to the Batman TV episodes, it almost appears as if the makeup crew weren't even trying to hide the mustache.
1
You acknowledge Lon Chaney's contributions to horror makeup techniques, yet have him listed in the number nine spot? Seriously? : (

#3 -- Wasn't that the story North Korea picked up from The Onion?
1
+David Loomis It really wasn't the HIV, it was what Magic Johnson did that caused him to contract HIV that prompted companies to drop him. Personally, I find it hypocritical for him to have been dropped when you know that there are other sports figures who do the same thing or worse that continue to get paid millions of dollars a year from these same companies.
1
CSI: Miami and Miami Vice would have been an interesting one.
1
+sunshizzleyou Personally, I think it makes them appear like morons.
1
Considering that Trump is running for US President, I'm calling out WatchMojo on its claim that no politicians were going to be featured on this list.
1
+hull294 So a potential Bond really should be in his mid-30's to mid-40's.
1
+Jon Kimberson Based on the clip in this video, I assume the character of Harley made an appearance sometime during the series run.
1
+shizukagozen777 I'm American and I have to agree with you absolutely about my National Anthem (doesn't mean I'm not proud of it, though). It is a difficult piece to sing. And sadly, a lot of American singers make it even more so by trying to be creative with the notes and/or music. I thought the choice of France as the number one anthem was a good one.
1
shizukagozen777 "But it's a powerful song which suits very well to your country I think." -- I think that describes your anthem quite well, too.

My aunt made homemade Cabbage Patch dolls for me and a friend for Christmas 1983. If it wasn't for the cloth "skin" she used instead of hard plastic, you wouldn't have been able to tell which ones were hers and which were the store bought ones.
1
I remember that one! It happened in London, right?
1
+Deathcoke Mars I can't comment on how he's received by comic readers, but considering he's the main character in a popular TV series, can you really consider him an underrated superhero?
1
+Rafsup Good point.
1
+Esparza Cartoons Then the cops are called to the scene, only to be confronted by the uncle who's a vampire TV chef and the wacky neighbor whose dreams of being a singer clash with her job as one of the world's top surgeons. ; )
1
Knew all of those! 😛
1
+ralph mccormick I wonder if the fact that he can be killed by decapitation kept the compiler(s) of this list from considering him truly immortal?
1
+Daisy Ann Even though the Queen can't directly tell a Prime Minister what to do or not do, he'd be stupid not to at least listen to to someone who has been exposed to the political goings on of the UK and the world for sixty plus years. I'd find it surprising if the Queen hadn't influenced a Prime Minister or two to do or not do something over the years.
1
I'm surprised the flag of the Bahamas isn't on this list.
1
The only reason Castro was able to keep the Cuban economy from total collapse for so long was due to support from the (then) Soviet Union. When it collapsed, I think Venezuela was able to pick up some of the slack for a little while, but once both countries were out of the picture, Cuba's economy tanked.

#2 -- "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."
1
+Clarrisani WhoLock is a crossover fandom.
1
+Godminnette2 I like the idea of WhoLock, even though I know the only realistic way it could ever happen on TV is in something like a Children in Need or Comic Relief sketch. I'm also a wee bit older than 22 and rarely peek in on Tumblr and DeviantART. : )
1
+Matthew K Yeah, I wonder why it wasn't on here? That story broke last year.
1
+slash slash Although I agree that solely for the purposes of this video, the adopted children shouldn't count, the adopted children are just as much the children of the parents as the biological ones.
