  1. I would assume that with the movie premiering, WatchMojo wanted to repeat the video so people (like myself) who weren't familiar with the comic could learn a bit about the background of the character.

  2. Not in the original comic. Cell phones, especially ones with texting features, were a good 30 or so years in the future.
