  1. +sands journey That puzzles me just as much as it annoys me. When you're at an event (sporting event, movie, concert, etc...) that you paid good money to attend, why would you want to have your face and attention glued to your phone instead of whatever it is you paid to see?

  3. The only major difference between you and me are maps. If I'm at home and want to figure out how to get somewhere, I'll get on my laptop and access Google Maps. If I'm not at home, I'll either use a folding map or ask for directions since I don't have a smartphone either.

  4. +Merchiodos I don't have a smartphone. I do have a (by today's standards) basic cell phone, however. And a landline.

  5. I do have a cell phone, but not a smartphone. A co-worker of mine asked me why and I asked him why do I need one? He mentioned some of the bells and whistles smartphones have and I agreed that those would be cool, but why do I need a smartphone since all I need is something that makes and receives calls. He never could answer that question.

  6. Kind of a misleading title. Although most of these things are fun and/or convenient to have access to, if any of them stopped existing, humanity would survive.
