  1. Although I think Martha is the most beautiful of the New Who companions, I don't consider her sexy. To me, being sexy is more than simply being physically attractive. I can't really put into words what I consider sexy, but none of the New Who companions have it. River, on the other hand, has "it". To me, she's the sexiest female character in New Who.

  3. +Thomas Steenbergen There are two Star Trek women (Uhura and T'Pol) and nearly two Doctor Who women (Martha, with Amy Pond as a Honorable Mention) on this list, so having more than one woman from a franchise appears to be allowed. : )
