  1. Yeah, one theory floating around was that the eldest son of the (then) Prince of Wales was the killer. That's been pretty much debunked, partly because Prince Albert Victor wasn't even in London when two of the murders occurred and partly because the general consensus is that he wasn't the brightest light bulb in the lamp store (at the very least, not bright enough to possess the anatomical knowledge that Jack the Ripper had).
