Another thing is that Rittenhouse had no business traveling to Kenosha, a city in which he wasn't residing in at the time, while unrest was happening.

@ze3934 "... if kyle was not armed while trying to offer first aid and put out fires (and thus destroying all the fun of the so called protestors) would he or would he not stil be alive?" If Rittenhouse had stayed home in Antioch that night, the odds that he would (a) be alive and (b) never had set foot in a Kenosha courtroom are pretty high.
