  1. In my opinion, two things: (1) Obama started the process of opening up diplomatic relations and relaxing some of the rules regarding Americans traveling to and doing business with Cuba. Trump seems determined to dismantle anything that Obama did during his administration. (2) As the video pointed out, Trump believes that the Cuban-Americans in Miami want him to crack down on all interactions with Cuba. And the older members of that community tend to vote Republican.

  2.  @GLORYNEVADASMITH  That's what irks me about US foreign policy towards Cuba. Countries like China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, et al., enjoy full diplomatic and trade relations with us and you know they aren't stellar examples of respecting human rights.
