  1. +Dee Cee If I remember what I've heard correctly, once you've renounced your US citizenship, it takes going through a lot of hoops to regain it. Someone who has renounced her citizenship wouldn't just be able to say, "Oopsie, I changed my mind," at the first sign of trouble and become American again.

  2. +UnKnOwN Mini I'd check with the countries you're interested in to see what is required for you to move there and become a citizen. You don't want to renounce your US citizenship unless you've already obtained citizenship in another country.

  3. +UnKnOwN Mini If I had to permanently move to one of those countries you mentioned, I'd go with Singapore. One of its official languages is English and, at the risk of sounding like an arrogant American, it seems Westernized enough that I would have an easier time adapting to the society and culture there.
