I'd be lying if I said I don't read anything online, but I can't help but feel like this increasing reliance on books, magazines, newspapers, etc..., being accessible mainly or solely online is going to come back and bite everyone on the proverbial posterior one day.

***** Nothing if "fewer magazines" means that only publications that people actually want to read are being published. I used to work in a grocery store and you wouldn't believe how many magazines that hadn't been purchased were pulled each week. Massive waste of paper. Unfortunately, the company couldn't cut back on just the ones that weren't selling because, like cable, it was a package deal in which less popular magazines were bundled with more popular ones. I know that sounds like an argument to put more things online (which looks contradictory to my original post), but I can't help but think that if something were to happen that hindered access to the Internet, how will we get access to the most current printed information if everything is online?
