  1. Question from an American: Does every province have the power to limit how many immigrants settle in their territory or does Quebec have this power due to its "special status" within Canada?

  2. @G Eak What problem is that? There are no legal restrictions on where immigrants to the US can live.

  3. @G Eak Quebec may very well have similar concerns about non-Francophone immigrants, but that doesn't really address my original question. I wanted to know if any Canadian province can limit how many immigrants can settle in its territory or is Quebec the only one?
