@069220 "Mommy, they're polluting too!" is not an excuse not to do whatever we can to cut down on negatively impacting the environment.

@069220 Actually I don't do either one of those things (I do ride in cars, however). I will confess that it's not for environmental reasons, but if helping the environment is a side effect of my not driving or taking planes, that's great. Do I think everyone should do what I do, or more accurately, don't do? No, because it's not practical in today's society. However, that doesn't mean manufacturers of cars and planes can't try to make them as environmentally friendly as possible. Nor does it mean that people shouldn't try to drive and fly less.
