You know that's baloney sauce. Don't stoop to the level of a Trump supporter.
1
Not that I have any disagreement with what Keilar is presenting, but she could present it in a more professional manner.
1
The irony is strong with this one.
1
The federal government is responsible for at least part of the replacement costs because a federal highway crossed the bridge.
1
Because there's no law that states a business can't discriminate against you because of who your employer is.
1
And I'm sure you've submitted your evidence to the appropriate authorities.
1
I can't put my finger on why, but I don't trust Musk. I have a suspicion that those who think he's some sort of social media savior would end up extremely disappointed if he were to buy and control Twitter.
1
Don't give me that baloney sauce that it's the Democrat's fault that Trump's agenda regarding immigration (legal and otherwise). Republicans have been in charge of the House and Senate from day one of Trump's presidency.
1
@drakesessions3544 I still wouldn't cover what my competition says or does (again, unless it's part of a bigger story like the bombs left at CNN back in 2018) because the last thing I want to do is give my competition free advertising.
1
Why would anyone else care about your imaginary friend, "Brandon"?
1
1:52 -- She's lucky I'm not her boss. I wouldn't tolerate unprofessional language like that.
1
That actually makes a stronger case as to why Trump shouldn't continue to be in office. Normal people his age don't behave in such a childish manner.
1
Well, I will have to concede that if it wasn't for all the news media treating his campaign seriously instead of the joke that it should've been viewed as, he wouldn't be President now. As far as the media focusing on Trump now, I see it in the same light as keeping an eye on a two year old who has a tendency to walk out of the house and into a busy street the second your back is turned.
1
I think it's hilarious that you just insulted yourself.
1
@newport1141 You know what "stupid" really is? It's knowing that you don't like something (a TV show, a certain food, etc...), yet continuing to partake while whining how much you don't like it.
1
@newport1141 Depends on what you're reading. If a 50 year old can't understand a book written for a five year old and she/he doesn't have a mental impairment, that can be considered stupid. On the other hand, if you're reading an academic journal in a subject area that you're not an expert in, you're probably not going to understand all of it, but it doesn't mean you're stupid, just not knowledgeable about the subject.
1
@newport1141 Looking at the state of your posts, I wouldn't be questioning other people's educational achievements if I were you.
1
@newport1141 Our educational achievements (or possibly the lack thereof) have no relevance to this conversation.
1
@newport1141 IQ only has meaning if you're trying to get into Mensa or trying to get your child into a special education program (in the US at least).
1
@newport1141 "I do feel that you should be more open to different opinions and be careful on what and how you post." Looking at your very first post in this conversation makes the above sentence seem a bit contradictory.
1
@newport1141 Nope, you didn't upset me in the least. I just like pointing out discrepancies between a post that whines about a video or channel and the fact that the commenter voluntarily clicked on it, knowing that he/she won't like what's being shown.
1
@newport1141 Wow, your grasp on reality doesn't seem too secure. If I don't exist, then why are you continually responding to my posts?
1
@newport1141 "and it makes me laugh!" You know what makes me laugh? Watching people like you continue to click on the videos of a channel you claim to dislike (which you've done about 15 times from the beginning of this conversation). I'm sure CNN appreciates your support.
1
@newport1141 Again, looking at how you write sentences, I wouldn't be calling others stupid if I was in your shoes.
1
@newport1141 "There is a reason you cant find a job and have more that 40k in college debt." And you came to this erroneous conclusion how?
1
@newport1141 "Special powers" is not an answer.
1
@newport1141 That doesn't answer the question, either.
1
@newport1141 "what do you want to hear?" One of two things: what information you used to come to the incorrect assumption that I don't have a job and am currently saddled with massive debt from college or you admitting that you just made up all of that.
1
@newport1141 Nope, it doesn't work like that. You made the claim, so it's on you to prove it if challenged.
1
@newport1141 Not for me.
1
@newport1141 I have nothing to prove. I'm not the one who made the accusation.
1
@newport1141 Regardless of the correct word, you're still not answering my question.
1
@newport1141 As I mentioned before, it's on you to prove your assumption, not on me to confirm or deny it.
1
@newport1141 Not going to happen. My personal life is none of your business unless I choose to make it so.
1
@newport1141 If you're not going to answer my question, then there's no point in continuing this particular conversation.
1
Residents of DC have been able to vote in presidential elections since the 23rd Amendment to the US Constitution was ratified in 1961 (which would mean the first presidential election for DC residents was in 1964).
1
Maybe in your version of reality, people can't possibly do something nice that doesn't benefit them monetarily, but that's not how many people are in the real world. It may not seem that way from watching the news, but they are around. Speaking of living in different realities, who do you think would become President should Biden resign or be removed from office?
1
+Alex da Vinci Please don't use the term "Trump Derangement Syndrome". It only makes the user sound like a Trump supporter.
1
@GeraudRulz As far as I'm concerned, I don't think there's anything wrong with that idea in theory. The problem is how Trump wants to accomplish it. In the US, any changes to the Constitution have to go through an extensive procedure that involves a super-majority of US states. What Trump is proposing is bypassing that constitutionally mandated procedure and simply signing an executive order overriding the 14th Amendment.
1
@pattysmith3920 If the 14th Amendment needs to be reformed, there is a constitutional procedure for that and that procedure is not an executive order.
1
@GeraudRulz Actually, my thoughts on birthright citizenship came before Trump. Maybe he's copying me? 😉
1
@radiatedlesbiannun4786 And what case is currently before the Supreme Court that's going to accomplish that?
1
Shadowy Outcomes Harris can't hold both offices at the same time, so she'd have to give up her Senate seat by January 20th (the day she's sworn in as VP) at the latest. I was just speculating that she might do so sooner because she'll probably be spending more time preparing for her new role than fulfilling her responsibilities as a Senator.
1
I believe I read somewhere that he was going to end up there, but what his exact role will be, I don't know. I can't really imagine that a dog with his training will simply be a comfort dog, though.
1
@tommyrwestbrook5799 Kind of hard to have people arrested if you can't tell police who they are, what they look like (especially for online threats), or if they leave before the police get there.
1
"Mommy, Clinton did bad things too!" is not a defense.
1
@MalleusDei275 It's still unnerving to hear a President say he'd be willing to break the law if the opportunity presented itself.
1
@MalleusDei275 Yet again, you're trying to excuse Trump by pointing out that Clinton may have done illegal things as well. If you're going to defend Trump, then do it with arguments that address what he said or did, not by using what I call "The Tattletale Defense" (so named by me because people who use it sound like kids tattling on others: "Mommy, they did bad things, too!").
1
@MalleusDei275 I'm not talking about Obama or Clinton. That's not the topic of this video.
1
If it was up to me, I'd be fining Trump's campaign and/or his lawyers for wasting the courts' time by presenting arguments that have nothing to do with the filed case.
