  5. If you're from the US, I'd say that the teachers who failed to teach you how we elect Presidents should be fired and replaced. The people who are meeting Monday to cast their vote for President are not from the House of Representatives. They are electors from each state chosen specifically to vote for either Biden or Trump, depending on how their state's popular vote turned out. The only way the House of Representatives would have a choice in who becomes President is if no presidential candidate obtains at least 270 Electoral College votes. In that case, the House would vote, but each state is allowed only one vote regardless of how many representatives it has.
