It doesn't matter which candidate the absentee voters cast their votes for, the collecting of those ballots by a third party is illegal in North Carolina.

@riomar9 Not that it's really any of your business, but my political leanings are as far from the left end of the spectrum as the Sun is from Pluto. You may want to re-watch this video and/or read a news report about what this situation in North Carolina is about. There weren't any "found" ballots and the Democratic candidate certainly didn't benefit from what happened.

@riomar9 Considering that the nationwide popular vote has no part in how the US President is elected, why would you care if Trump had more individual votes nationwide than Clinton as long as he had the 270+ Electoral College votes needed to win?
