Comments by "retnavybrat" (@retnavybrat) on "CNN's Donie O'Sullivan's Twitter account suspended after reporting Elon Musk's suspension of user" video.
When Musk was in the process of buying the company, there were quite a few Twitter critics who were celebrating the supposed return of "free speech" to the platform. I had a feeling then that he wasn't going to be the savior they were expecting and these suspensions give some credence to my speculation.

But why suspend accounts that are discussing the suspension of the first account?

@Micloren If the plane follower's Twitter account posed a threat to anyone's safety, by all means, take it offline. But what physical threat do journalists debating that action pose to Musk or anyone in his orbit?

@richardcoram1562 "... that led up to two attempted IMPEACHMENTS by the Democrats ." Assuming you're referring to Trump, his impeachments weren't "attempts", they were accomplished. An impeachment, in and of itself, is simply the House stating that it believes that a President has committed a crime or crimes and/or conducted himself such that he is no longer fit to hold the office. The Senate then puts the President on trial and votes on if he should remain in office. It's the removal from office part of the procedure that was attempted and failed.

Okay, I can understand suspending someone for using his account in such a way that people could be put in danger, but why suspend other accounts for discussing the original suspension?
