I don't identify with either mainstream party, but if I was a Representative, I would've voted against this bill as well. My reason is that when a day is made a federal holiday, it weakens the meaning of the day. Mark my words, it won't be too long before most people see Juneteenth as just another day off (if they're lucky enough not to work for the retail or restaurant sectors) and use the day not to reflect on the legacy of slavery, but to go shopping at Juneteenth Sales.

If I believed the same as you, I wouldn't have even clicked on this video since the title was very clear that Lemon was going to be giving his opinion.
